Do I need to have previous experience running my own business?

No. Previous business experience would be seen as advantages but is not essential.

What is my initial investment?

A initial start-up-fee of 250 000 sek is required. This fee grants the  franchisee the right to use the Redfellas Concept and access to all material/know-how and covers the costs of training of the franchisee and the initial training/education program before startup. The average store establishment cost for a 100 m2 bar is around 900 000 sek. This is inclusive of design, signage, construction and operational equipment. This figure may vary. 

Do I pay any on-going fees after the franchise fee and store establishment amounts are paid?

Yes. There is a 4% on-going royalty fee calculated on gross monthly sales. An additional 1% of gross monthly sales is payable towards the Redfellas marketing fund. The contributions to the Redfellas marketing fund are invested into above the line advertising campaigns and brand awareness activities.

How much does each Redfellas turnover per annum?

Business performance and turnover can vary depending on size and demographics of each individual store location.

I have never run a business of my own, will I receive sufficient training?

Yes. Redfellas takes all its franchisee's through a comprehensive training program in a trading Redfellas bar with our full time training manager. To consolidate this learning, a further two weeks training is held at the franchisee's new store location, ensuring you and your staff is well trained for the store opening.

What support does Redfellas offer its franchisees?

A complete turnkey package including site selection and store fit. A comprehensive training program covering all aspects of owning and operating a Redfellas franchise. A complete operations manual. Full use of Redfellas brand, logo, and trademarks. National purchasing power to ensure the best prices along with consistent quality of ingredients at all times. New products as and when developed. Ongoing training and support. Franchisee conference calls to discuss new products and ideas. Strong profit margins, industry leading equipment and an extensive range of products.

Can I buy a trading Redfellas bar?

Yes. Opportunities exist for franchisee's to purchase an existing store which is all ready trading.

Can I purchase more than one Redfellas franchise?

Yes. Franchisee's who wish to purchase more than one location will need to meet set criteria in their initial store first. This will include operating their first store for a set period of time, meeting business targets and customer service levels. It will be at the discretion of Redfellas to grant any further (multi site) franchises.
