We are seeking partners who have had prior retail experience and who have either owned or operated successful businesses in the past with the infrastructure in place to drive Redfellas forward in their chosen territory. This will include experience in leasing, shop fitting, marketing, supply chain management, training and human resource management.

To ensure that we succeed in your chosen market we will work closely with you to create a development plan for your territory that is realistic and achievable in the time frame set between us. Therefore it is necessary that the partner we choose has the financial and operational capability to finance and operate the project.

What are we looking for?

Our master franchisees are corporations or individuals from a variety of backgrounds who have a proven track record in developing national businesses in their country. This previous business experience of operating multi-site (chain) operations and or highly successful businesses will bring an established management team with a network of business contacts in the following areas: Leasing/real estate, shop fitting & design, wholesalers/suppliers, IT & communications, marketing, training & development and operations.

In addition to this existing infrastructure, master franchisees will have the financial capability to successfully meet agreed store roll out targets in line with the Redfellas franchise system.

What is the role of the master franchisee?

The master franchisee will be required to develop and integrate core infrastructure from their local marketplace with the Redfellas franchise system. This will include wholesalers/suppliers - marketing - training & development - operations - shop fitting & design - IT & communications - leasing/real estate.

How much is the master franchise fee?

The master franchise fee is based on the countries development plan and is discussed in detail with the preferred master franchise candidates.

What are the establishment costs per Redfellas bar?

The cost of opening a complete Redfellas bar, can vary country to country depending on size and location. For example in Sweden the cost of opening a outlet is between 60 000-100 000 euro. Detailed costing’s will be done as part of your Development process.

How much does each Redfellas turnover per annum?

Business performance and turnover can vary depending on size and demographics of each individual country/territory. 

What are the on-going franchise fees?

The master franchise fee is calculated on set number of stores to be opened in an agreed timeline between Redfellas and the master franchisee. Where the amount of stores opened exceeds the agreed timeline, a fee will be paid per additional store. The master franchise fees can vary depending on the size and demographics of each individual country/territory.

Can I recruit and train sub franchisees as the master franchisee?

Yes, in addition to the rollout of company owned stores in your country/territory, you will have the rights to recruit sub franchises. The master franchisee will be responsible for the recruitment and selection of any additional sub franchises.

Is there on-going royalty fee if I recruit sub franchises?

Yes, a royalty fee will be payable to the master franchise and the Redfellas franchising system.

How long does it take from signing the master franchise lease to opening the first store?

This varies depending on how efficient the master franchise is able to establish its own operational infrastructure. The securing of a lease in the right location can also determine how quickly the first stores(s) can be opened. As a general guide it is typically between 6-12 months before the first store is fully operational.

What training does Redfellas franchise system provide?

The training department and Franchise Director of the master franchisee will complete a comprehensive four week training program. This training program will be completed in both Sweden and the masters home territory covering all aspects of the Redfellas trading store and mangement structure. Redfellas will assign franchising support personnel which will provide further onsite training and development in the master franchisee's respective country/territory. This training and support will continue throughout the duration of the relationship.

Each master franchisee will have access to Redfellas franchising support personnel year round.
